Clare Peploe : ウィキペディア英語版 | Clare Peploe Clare Peploe (born 1942) is a British screenwriter, producer and film director. She is the sister of Mark Peploe. Since 1979 she has been married to director Bernardo Bertolucci. ==Life and career== Peploe was born in Tanzania but grew up in England and Italy. At an early age, Peploe developed an interest in cinema and art. She went on to study at the Sorbonne and University of Perugia.
